Pike House
The Pike House is a historic house, located on New Hampshire Route 10, two doors south of its junction with Brook Road, in Goshen, New Hampshire. The 1-1/2 story Cape style house was built c. 1812, and is one of a cluster of 19th century plank-framed houses in Goshen. The walls are framed with three inch wood planking, and sheathed with aluminum siding. It originally had two windows on either side of the central door; these have been replaced with modern multi-pane windows. Attached to this main block are a connecting ell and garage of modern construction. The house was in the 20th century the home of Althine Sholes Lear, a locally prominent poet.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=NRHP nomination for Pike House )〕 The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.〔 ==See also==
